I picked graduation as my theme and I knew exactly what pictures I was going to scrap for my layout. My son, Solomon and his class are the first group to put on a graduation for his school. He was very excited and I knew if I did not do my pages digitally, he might not ever see a scrapbook page of his pre-kindergarten graduation.
The first thing I did was prepare my images and put them in frames. Then I picked out my background, added an overlay that looked like writing paper and changed the background color to a light brown so the pictures would stand out and I wanted the page to feel like a boys page. Next I selected a few complementary papers and letters for my title. The letters were originally dark brown and I wanted blue. So, I changed the hue until I had a nice navy blue color. Finally, I grunged out my background paper a little and added my journaling.
I don’ t use a mouse with my laptop…and I don’ t think I ever will after using the Bamboo. Using the pen is ten times easier. I liked being able use the wheel on the Bamboo to zoom in and out on my pictures. The pen is sensitive and was perfect for my journaling. Handwriting on my layouts is one of my signatures, so being about to easily do this with the Bamboo sold me completely on it. I was able to place the tablet in my lap and write as I normally do and the journaling actually looks just like my handwriting. I love that!

Hi Lucrecer:
I was very impressed with the Bamboo Fun tool and your work. How would I get started with this? I currently do a lot of on-line scrapbooking with Shutterfly, but would like my work to be much more personalized and creative.
I would also like to know if you know of any digital scrapbooking organizations in Dayton, Ohio.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Francyne
