I hadn’t scrapbooked my fun New Years photos and new that I wanted to for this project. My favorite photo of that evening was of the champagne glasses lined up on the counter ready for the countdown. A cause for celebration! For this layout, I wanted it to be simple, yet sparkly. So, I hope you’ll watch my video tutorial on how to make your own glitter splashes for your scrapbook pages.
All items from this layout are from my “Dream Big” kit at my website, www.hollymccaigdesigns.com. The paper/creased overlays are from the amazing, Something Blue Studios and the glitter styles (which are the best in my opinion) are from Blush Butter. Adobe Photoshop CS3
My second page focuses more on the resolutions we made for the year. Did they come true? Well, not exactly, but we’re all well on our way to making them happen and I think that’s what matters most.
All pieces are from the Dream Big Kit with photo overlays by Favreau at Cat Scraps. Adobe Photoshop CS3

Holly McCaig is not only an extremely talented photographer and graphic designer, she’s also an avid digital scrapbooker. Her work has been featured in several publications, including Memory Makers, Simple Scrapbooks and the popular book, Digital Designs in Scrapbooking by Renee Pearson.
While digital scrapbooking is her passion (which you can find at her website, www.hollymccaigdesigns.com), you can also find Holly’s designs in the traditional scrapbooking world. She designed for Bo Bunny Press and is currently the primary product-line designer for Pink Paislee, LLC.
She enjoys working out of her suburban St. Louis home that she shares with her two rat terriers, Jack and Daisy. (Check out her “Dream Big” kit at www.hollymccaigdesigns.com.)
I think “New Year” and “Dream Big” are really great. The photograph in the first one is the best part. Great stuff.
For real…I am in love with this page.
