i have always taken many flower photos in the spring and summer. I decided it was time to see what many of my flowers look like in the Fall. This is a black eyed susan in my field. I used several papers to blend together with the photo to make the background papers, leaving that photo in the background in color but adjusted the other photo to a sepia like color. It is interesting to follow the seasons and the observe and note in a layout how the flower changes
forgot to mention that all the supplies to make this layout are from http://www.scrapgirls.com
loved the concept of taking a summer flower and carrying it through to fall.. and still leaving a glimpse of summer behind it!
I love the way the background looks like a water color.
Who ever did this must have been a great mother as well!!
I absolutely love the layers and textures on this one. It really makes you feel the season!
i love the way the photo captures the awareness that Autumn is soon to arrive. The background it genius with fabrics of calico turning to corderoy…again summer to fall. Beautiful.
That is one good looking flower. talented and imaginative artist
